The school building of the future
The mandate we were given by the owner of this bold and visionary school building was to conduct a future study, renew the school concept and create a draft of an extension to the school building. We carried out the project in collaboration with 11Helsinki.
What made the work unique was the extensive stakeholder participation it involved. We interviewed 30 influencers from the Lahti economic region and worked on future school concepts together with students from Salpausselkä school.
