A vast complex of services

In a major renovation of Helsinki’s Olympic Stadium, the stadium’s entire restaurant area was revamped.Compass Group was chosen to operate the restaurant business.

Flock was in charge of the restaurant business’s project management and concept creation. The project ran from spring 2019 through summer 2020.

The scale of the complex is massive. The number of kiosk points more than tripled, and a modern restaurant serves customers every day. At their busiest, these operations serve up to 50,000 people, and at a rather brisk pace. This demands a lot from just about all areas: the range of options, logistics, production, services, and digital solutions.

The hard work of Compass Group’s nearly 30 professionals yielded a smooth overall result. Any rough edges have since been honed by real-life experience.
